Color is not decoration. It is the subject.

I paint until the color stops being a surface and becomes a room you can stand inside.

My work begins with a single pigment and a question: how much space can one color hold? Layer by layer, the canvas stops being a picture and starts behaving like a place — somewhere the eye can enter, wander, and rest.

I am not interested in narrative. I am interested in presence: the physical weight of vermilion, the silence inside violet, the tension where two colors refuse to touch.
